ANSI T1.403 Statistics Screen
The ANSI T1.403 Statistics screen, shown in
Messages (PRMs) for the most recent four seconds of operation. This data is only available when
the DSU is configured, in Network Configuration, for an ESF Mode of ANSI T1.403.
For each of the four seconds the screen provides Outbound and Inbound indications for each of six
conditions:
Cyclic Redundancy Checksum Errors (CRC Errors)
Severely Errored Frames (SEF)
Frame Errors (FSBE)
Line Code Violations (LCV)
Controlled Slips (Slips)
Payload Loopback (PLB)
The Outbound PRMs are being reported by the local SC 553 DSU. They represent conditions that
are occurring at (Slips, PLB) or being detected by (CRC Errors, SEF, FSBE, LCV) the local DSU.
The Inbound PRMs are conditions occurring or detected by the far end DSU, which reports them to
the local unit.
When you are done viewing the screen, type 0 and press the Enter key to return to the Monitor/
Status menu.
