TIP
Air lter
• This model's air lter is equipped with a disposable oil-coated paper element, which must not be cleaned with com-
pressed air to avoid damaging it.
• The air lter element needs to be replaced more frequently when riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.
V-belt case air lter
• The air lter needs more frequent service if you are riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.
V-belt
•The V-belt should be checked at the initial 7000 km and every 3000 km thereafter. Replace the V-belt if any damage
or excessive wear is found. The V-belt needs to be replaced every 25000 km even if there is not wear or damage.
CHECK OR MAINTENANCE JOB
• Lubricate.
• Check operation.
• Check throttle grip free play, and
adjust if necessary.
• Lubricate cable and grip housing.
• Check operation.
• Adjust headlight beam.
