Series 90 Setup Manual
Low-voltage Scanner Board Jumpers
Each low-voltage scanner board 520944-00 and 520944-01 must have a jumper installed for
configuration. (The 5210944-02 low voltage scanner boards and the high-voltage scanner
boards do not have jumpers.) As illustrated, the jumper is installed across two pins of a three-pin
connector located on the component side, opposite the test point connectors. This jumper can be
installed in one of two locations on the three-pin connector. Each scanner board, except for the
last board in the cabinet, must have a jumper install in the position for "all other boards". See
Figure 14. Note that the position of the jumper varies depending upon the scanner board version.
On the last board, move the jumper to the "last board" position. When multiple expansion
cabinets are required, the last board of each cabinet must be jumpered as the last board.
Low-voltage scanner boards 5210944-02 have no jumpers and require no jumper configuration
before installation but requires TestRite version 6.0.114 or later. Low-voltage scanner boards
without jumpers can be mixed with low-voltage scanner boards with jumpers in the same
expansion cabinet.
applies when mixed with low-voltage scanner boards without jumpers.
