Connecting to USB Port on PC

Arrange the Series 90L4/90L8/90H8 alongside your PC. Connect the power cords as shown in
Figure 10, and as described below:
1. Verify power switch on rear panel is in OFF position.
2. Connect power cord (part number 9200016) from power connector (male) on rear
panel to an AC power source (100 to 220V~).
3. Connect USB to serial converter (2240048) to PC.
4. Connect tester serial port to USB to serial converter with 9-conductor cable
(9100069).
5. Connect PC to appropriate power source in accordance with PC instruction manual.

Grounding the Unit
The Series 90L4/90L8/90H8 is shipped with a three-wire grounded cable. When the cable is
connected to a three-wire (grounded) receptacle, it connects the chassis of the unit to ground.
