speed

The speed Line Configuration mode command sets the line baud rate. To return to the default configuration, use
the no form of the command.
Syntax
speed bps
no speed
Parameters
•
bps—Baud rate in bits per second (bps). Possible values are 2400, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600 and 115200.
Default Configuration
The default speed is 9600 bps.
Command Mode
Line Configuration (console) mode.
User Guidelines
This command is available only on the line console.
Examples
The following example configures the line baud rate to 38400.
Console(config)# line console
Console(config-line)# speed 38400
