The LPS-D offers a high degree of custom programmability. Custom programming of the LPS-D is accom-
plished using Xpression Builder software. Xpression Builder allows the user to graphically design programma-
ble logic and make I/O (input/output) assignments for the LPS-D and other GE Power Management relays.
Xpression Builder is included with the LPS-D software suite on the GE Power Management CD. A complete
description of Xpression Builder is included in Chapter 13: XPRESSION BUILDER .
All of the contact converters (Digital Inputs) in the LPS-D are user configurable. However, each LPS-D relay is
shipped with the default contact converter assignments shown in the table below and on Figure 1–22: ELE-
MENTARY DIAGRAM WITH DEFAULT I/O ASSIGNMENTS on page 1–47.
