Storing / Held Alarm: A1MD = LT.HO
With the HOLD setting, the switching function is a combination of LTCH and HOLD,
i.e. the alarm function is only activated after the control setpoint has been reached for
the first time and switches on at the alarm value. The alarm is switched off by the
EIFN or by switching off the operating voltage.
Example:
Storing & held alarm
All examples show the settings for alarm 1, the settings for alarm 2 are correspon-
ding.

6.9 Differenzalarm

The differential alarm indicates to the user that
the process deviates too far from the setpoint.
One can use the positive or negative difference
(A1DV, A2DV) for Alarm 1 and Alarm 2 and set
the hysteresis (A1HY, A2HY). The hysteresis
prevents the alarm from flashing when the pro-
cess value fluctuates slightly. Normally, the
hysteresis (A1HY, A2HY) can remain set to
factory setting 0.1.
The switch-on point of the alarm changes with
the setpoint value.
Alarm 1 setpoint = SP1 + A1DV ± ½ A1HY
Alarm 2 setpoint = SP1 + A1DV ± ½ A2HY
A1SP and/or A2SP are hidden if the corresponding alarm is set to differential alarm.
The 4 alarm settings (NORM, LTCH, HOLD, LT.HO) can also be set for the
differential alarm (for description see chapter 3.8).
