* The battery should be purchased sepa-
rately and is not supplied with the outboard
motor.
1. Place the battery box in a convenient
position away from possible water
spray. Securely fasten both the box
and the battery so they do not shake
loose.
2. Connect the positive lead (+) to the
positive terminal (+) of the battery, and
then connect the negative lead (—).
W h e n d i s c o n n e c t i n g t h e b a t t e r y
always remove the negative lead (—)
first. After connecting the positive ter-
minal (+), securely place a cap on it to
prevent short circuits.

1. Connect the throttle cable coming from
the motor to the handle, then fix it with
a nylon nut. After that, place the plate
in the outer groove, and fix it with
screws.
