Standard (Front Install)
The image to the right shows the installation
closet for the standard (Front Install) configuration
(where the wall plenum is opposite the service
access door).
A drainage system is required, and should provide
a "P-trap" to prevent undesirable waste gas
from entering into the residential area. This is
represented by a vertical standpipe in the image
shown, but other solutions are possible and are
at the discretion of the building designer and
contractor.
The near wall has been trimmed away at the door
centerline to permit full view of the installation.
