INSTALLATION
3-1 SEPARATING

Remove the cover.

Loosen the
cover lock
screw.

Remove the main unit from the chassis.

Turn the optical unit 90 degrees
and loosen the screws (both sides).
• Do not place the main unit where it is exposed to direct
sunlight. Doing so may cause damage to the product.

Remove the chassis from the back box.

Caution
• When the waterproof packing is detached, be sure to
attach it on the back of the chassis before mounting.
Not doing so may compromise IP rate of this
product.
3-2 WALL MOUNTING

Using a screwdriver or similar tool, break the
knockout position (x6) in the back box as shown.
Note>>
• The knockout positions are
marked "WALL" as shown.

Pull the upper part of main
unit, and raise it to remove.
Caution
Note>>
The screws to secure the
back box cannot be
removed from the chassis.

Mount the back box to the wall.

4×20 self tapping
(with rubber washer)

Using Velcro tape, fix the wireless transmitters in the back
box.
Cut the supplied Velcro tape to
an appropriate length and apply.
Note>>
• For more information on wiring, see 3-4
"WIRING" on page 7.
• When using battery common use unit BCU-4
(option), refer to the corresponding manual.

Insert two or four batteries into the back box.
Note>>
Battery life: Transmitter 4 years (2 in the transmitter)

Up to 8 batteries (4 in the transmitter, 4 in the receiver)
Note>>
• Use of batteries other than recommended may shorten
the battery life. In that case, use four batteries.
• Do not mix batteries that have different levels of
power remaining (i.e., new and used batteries or
batteries of different manufacturers).
Not observing the above may result in an explosion,
leakage of electrolyte, emission of toxic gases or
other outcomes that may be harmful to people and
property.
• Remove all batteries prior to replacing with new
ones. If this is not followed, the low battery indicator
LED will not reset and continue to blink.
