Installation
Sensor installation
Before installation, turn off the power switch of SC-U1 or
disconnect the power cable from the supply source and wire
the power cable after the installation is complete.

The end of the sensor cable is
equipped with a female screw
(1¼-11½NPT) to enable a male
screw to be attached to a severed
pipe.
* NPT represents the standards
for taper screws used on
American pipes.
Do not install it near to
walls or where water
collects. Failure to
observe this may result in
the dissolved oxygen in the
measurement tank being
measured incorrectly.

Make sure that air
bubbles do not collect on
the surface of the sensor
when installing it. Correct
measurements may be
impossible if air bubbles
accumulated in the
measurement area.
With fluctuation of water
level taken into account,
dispose the sensor so as
to be immersed up to of the
order of 30 cm below the
expected lowest water level.
