10 Installation

The installation of any LX Mini Map version is simple and doesn't require any soldering works, as all connections
are plug_and_play.

10.1 Power supply

The power supply should be applied to the junction box and the junction box splits power to LX Mini Map and also
to all devices connected to the junction box. Connect red wire to plus and blue wire to GND. A master switch is a
part of wiring.
There is no fuse built into the LX Mini Map electronic, so it is recommended to use an external fuse, not less than
Respect also power limitations of interfaces connected to the system.
After a short power break, the LX Mini Map computer will start new and some unsaved data will get lost. So it is
recommended to use no break switches for change over from main to spare battery.

10.2 Mechanical installation

The unit comes with a suitable mounting frame which makes possible to install the unit in any cockpit. A snap in
fixation system makes insertion and also reinsertion very easy. Delivery included is also a suitable harness which
depends on mounting frame type. A part of harness is also a Junction Box and this device enables an absolutely plug
and play installation of electrical connections.

10.2.1 Mounting frames

The mounting frames are black colored aluminum parts which are coming in several variants; the variant depends on
installation intentions.
