BMC Reset

Press BMC RESET Switch only if a problem occurs in EXPRESSSCOPE Engine 3 (BMC).
Do not press this switch in usual operation.
Take the steps below to reset BMC.
1.
Press the ID/BMC RESET switch for eight seconds or longer. The ID lamp starts flashing.
2.
The flashing speed of ID lamp becomes slower when you release your finger from the ID/BMC
RESET switch. In that state, press the ID/BMC RESET switch again within four seconds.
3.
BMC Reset starts. While BMC is being reset, STATUS LED lights red. Do not operate the
server while STATUS LED lights red.
After resetting BMC, STATUS LED lights green when the server is powered on, or goes off
when the server is off-powered.

Tips
BMC RESET only resets BMC and that does not reboot the server.
