Maintenance

Setting maintenance date
The maintenance date is set via Menu 2, Item 2.4. Follow the screen dialogue (for details of operation, seesee "Fig. 3: Navi-
gating in the menu", page 32 ).
Self-diagnosis system (SDS)
The self-diagnosis system checks the described system functions automatically (interval adjustable). These settings are
made via Menu 3.1.9 (see "Menu texts Aqualift 230V", page 33). Test: Pump 1, Pump 2 (Duo), Battery
If an error occurs, a plain text message appears in the display and the alarm LED lights up
Calibrate pressure sensor
A normal ageing process can cause deviation of the level at the pressure sensor. The pressure sensor can be calibrated
under menu item 2.7. and takes place automatically.
Please note that the calibration should be carried out at a room temperature of 10°C to 30°C.
Annual calibration is recommended.

Possible cause
Battery is missing, is faulty or the remain-
ing voltage is too small
- Maintenance date is reached
- No maintenance date entered
- Minimum power consumption of the
pump 1 or 2 not reached
- Pump is defective
Maximum power consumption of the
pump exceeded, possible impeller block-
age
Power contactor does not switch off
-Power supply has failed
-Device fuse has failed (tripped)
- Mains supply cable is interrupted
Incorrect assignment or cabling of the
probes (float switch, pressure switch,
level probe or airtightness of the pressure
system)
Hose is leaking at the fitting to the immer-
sion pipe (or submersible pressure
switch) or control unit
Maximum operating cycles exceeded
Pump is running too long per pumping
operation
Pump running too frequently within a
short time
USB flash drive without assigned name or
USB hard drive connected
Remedial measure
Check the battery connections, replace
battery if necessary.
- Carry out maintenance
- Enter maintenance date (see 6.1)
Check cable and replace if necessary,
check pump and replace if necessary.
Clean the pump and check the impeller for
smooth running, replace if necessary.
Disconnect the control unit from the mains,
replace the control unit.

Check airtightness of the pressure sensor
