Connecting the pump(s)
WARNUNG
Electric shock hazard caused by unauthorised dis-
mantling of a connector during operation (e.g. by
children).
The mounting nut of the connector must be tight-
ened sufficiently so that it cannot be removed by
children.
Shorten and/or lengthen cable with plug to fit. To
lengthen, only use the matching cable extension set
(art.no. 80889). To shorten, proceed as follows:
Lay cable up to connection, measure 5 cm reserve.
Cut off using combination pliers. Strip cable jacket
from approx. 3 cm before the end of the cable.
Pull the nut off the cable cutoff and push onto the
exposed wires.
Bend over the wires into the recesses in the side,
then cut off flush.
The remaining installation does not require any tools.
Remove nut (connector) and protective cap.
Align cable arrow on arrow and push on.
Tighten the connector so that the spacer ring connects
flush. If a spacer ring is not fitted, note tightening torque
of 3 Nm.
If the torque is correct, the gap between the nut and
hexagonal body is 3-4 mm, if a spacer ring is not fitted.
