Do not remove/install the board in areas where static sparks may be generated.
(e.g. on a carpet) Be sure to touch a metal part to discharge any static electricity you might
have before removing/installing the board.
1. Remove the nine screws (silver, 6 mm) that secure the COVER ASSY ESS E to the main unit.
2. Remove the COVER ASSY ESS E together with the COVER OPTION from the main unit.

3. Disconnect all the connectors on the BOARD ASSY, MAIN.
4. Loosen the clamp that secures the harness connected to CN501 and CN601 connector on the BOARD
ASSY, MAIN.
5. Remove the two screws (silver, washer, 6 mm) that secure the ground wires of the HARNESS ASSY-
CON R and the HARNESS ASSY USB to the SHIELD ASSY ESS E.
6. Loosen the three screws (silver, 6 mm) that secure the right side of the SHIELD ASSY ESS to the
main unit.
7. Remove the four screws (silver, 6 mm) that secure the SHIELD ASSY ESS.
8. Pulling out the harnesses through the hole in the SHIELD ASSY ESS E, remove the SHIELD ASSY
ESS from the main unit.
