Connecting Power
The RUGGEDCOM RX1400 supports a single integrated high AC/DC or low DC power
supply.

Before installing the device, note the following:

Connecting High AC/DC Power
To connect a high AC/DC power supply to the device, do the following:
Electrical hazard – risk of damage to equipment
Do not connect AC power cables to terminals for DC power. Damage to the power
supply may occur.

Failsafe Alarm Relay Wiring
An appropriately rated AC or DC circuit breaker must be installed.
Use minimum #16 gage copper wiring when connecting terminal blocks.
Equipment must be installed according to applicable local wiring codes and
standards.
