Coffee Machine Modes
The coffee machine may be operated in three available modes:

ON
Standby (OFF)
Switched on
The coffee machine is switched on and ready to
brew espresso.
This is the standard operating mode when the
appliance is switched on with the main ON/OFF
switch (Fig. 13).
Standby Mode
The main ON/OFF switch is OFF but the 'OFF'
message is displayed (Fig. 14).
The appliance is in energy saving mode, which
may be activated only in on state. To this end,
press and hold the continuous operation
button and, at the same time, press the
button.
Switched off
The coffee machine is switched off with the main
ON/OFF switch.
Automatic hot water /
steam (if it is active)
Continuous operation
