Make sure the power is connected.

Tape stuck in
Detach the tape library while BS2000 is operating ( /DETACH-DEVICE ). This eliminates the
drive
BS2000 software as a problem source.
Power cycle the library, allow it to complete initialization, which in rare cases can take as
long as 10 minutes, and then retry unloading the tape using the library operator control panel.
Allow the tape drive to complete all operations. This may take as long as 10 minutes if you
reset or cycle power on the library while the cartridge is positioned at the physical end of the
media.

Make sure you are using recommended data and cleaning cartridges, see
