5.1 before Placing the Table in service
Personnel who will work with the table need to read

this manual.
Assemble the table following instructions on pages 8
●
and 9.
Confirm that the table operates properly. See Inspecting
●
the Table, page 13.
5.2 general guideline for Use
Follow standard mortuary-service procedures when working
with the table.
5.3 Positioning a body On the Table
In most cases, the body will be positioned with the head at
the operator end of the table and the feet at the drain end of
the table. Follow your local mortuary protocols.
5.4 Using the Wheel-lock Pedal
The wheel lock for one or all four wheels is controlled by
the wheel-lock pedal, located above the right wheel on the
operator end of the table.
TO LOCK ALL FOUR WHEELSe: Push the

operator-end of the wheel-lock pedal down (the end
nearest the control pedals, Figure 6). The wheels will
not roll or swivel.
TO UNLOCK THE WHEELSe: Position the wheel-
●
lock pedal in the intermediate position (Figure 7). All
four wheels will roll and swivel.
Notee:
If a clicking sound occurs while moving the table,
the wheel lock is still partially engaged. If this occurs, re-
engage the wheel lock and then unlock the wheels again
before moving the table.
FOR STRAIGHT-LINE ROLLINGe: Push the drain-

end of the wheel-lock pedal down (Figure 8). One
wheel at the drain end of the table will remain fixed in-
line with the length of the table to assist with straight-
line rolling.

differently: the wheels are unlocked when the drain-
end of the wheel-lock pedal is pushed down AND when
the wheel-lock pedal is in the intermediate position.
