7.1 Troubleshooting Table

If the corrective actions listed here do not solve the problem, contact
Ferno or your ambulance manufacturer for assistance. See "Ferno
Customer Relations" on page 2.
Problem
Wedging
Loose Mounting
(Vertical looseness)
Wobbly Mounting
(Side-to-side looseness)
Stat Trac Will Not Lock

Troubleshooting

7 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Cause
1) Stat Trac is being inserted into the floor
plates incorrectly.
2) One of the floor plates is installed at a
different level than the other(s).
1) The floor plates are loose.
2) The fastener posts are not adjusted
properly.
The floor plates are more than 1/16"/1.6
mm inch above the floor.
Dirt or debris is inside the floor plate.
The floor of the ambulance is not level.
Corrective Action
1) Load both ends of the Stat Trac in the
floor plates at the same time.
2a) Adjust the Stat Trac. See "Adjusting the
Fastener Posts" on page 15 and "Adjusting
the Fastener-Post Brackets" on page 16.
2b) Remount the floor plates so they are
level or 1/16"/1.6 mm above the floor.
1) Tighten the floor plate socket-head cap
screws.
2) Adjust the Stat Trac. See "Adjusting the
Fastener Posts" on page 15 and "Adjusting
the Fastener-Post Brackets" on page 16.
Take out the floor plate and remove shim(s)
as needed. Reinstall the floor plates and
remaining shim(s).
Adjust the Stat Trac. See "Adjusting the
Fastener Posts" on page 15 and "Adjusting
the Fastener-Post Brackets" on page 16.
Remove debris and clean the floor plates
and/or Stat Trac.
Adjust the Stat Trac. See "Adjusting the
Fastener Posts" on page 15 and "Adjusting
the Fastener-Post Brackets" on page 16.
