Assembling the Table

4.1 general information

The table top and the table base (with cover) are shipped
in separate cartons. To assemble the table, follow the
instructions on this page and page 9.

Notee:
Two people will be needed to lift the table top onto the
table base during assembly.

4.2 Hardware Provided

The hardware used to attach the table top to the base (Figure
1) is shipped in a bag attached to one of the mounting
brackets on the underside of the table top.
3/8" Hex Head Cap Screw
3/8" Flat Washer
3/8" Split Lock Washer 303 SS
1/4" Socket Head Cap Screw
1/4" Flat Washer

4.3 Tools required

3/16" Allen Wrench
9/16" Wrench
Rubber Mallet
Tape Measure

4.4 Preparing the Table base

1. To lock the wheels, step on the end of the wheel-lock
pedal nearest the foot pedals. (See Using the Wheel
Locks, page 10.)
2. Pump the left pedal (Figure 2) to raise both jacks to
their full height. Do not pull up on the jacks to raise
them. Stop pumping when the jacks stop moving
upward.
Notee:
Raising the jacks to their full height will provide

easier access to the underside of the table top later in the
assembly procedure.
important
Pulling up on the jacks to raise them can force air into the
hydraulic system. Always use Only the left pedal to raise
the jacks. If one or both ends of the table will not raise to
the maximum height, see Troubleshooting, page 14.
