The machine runs too hot.
The machine fumes or ex-
pels oil droplets through the
gas discharge.
The oil is black.

Busch representative.
Insufficient cooling.

Oil level too low.
The exhaust filters (EF) are
partially clogged.

An exhaust filter (EF) with o-
ring is not fitted properly.
The float valve (FV) does
not work properly.
Version with oil return valve:
The machine runs for more
than 10 hours without inter-
ruption.
Oil change intervals are too
long.
The inlet filter (optional) is
defective.
The machine runs too hot.
The machine sucked in li-
quids or significant amounts
of vapour.

• Remove dust and dirt
from the machine.
• Observe the permitted
ambient temperature.
• Top up oil.
• Replace the exhaust filters
(EF).
• Replace the exhaust filters
(EF).
• Ensure the correct posi-
tion of the exhaust filters
(EF) and the o-rings.
• Check the float valve and
the oil pipe for clogging.
Remove the clogging.
• Regularly shut down the
machine for short periods
of time (see Version with
Oil Return Valve [} 11]).
• Flush the machine (con-
tact Busch).
• Replace the inlet filter.
• See problem "The ma-
chine runs too hot".
• Flush the machine (con-
tact Busch).
• Clean the filter of the gas
ballast valve (GB).
• Modify the operational
mode (see Conveying
Condensable Vapours
[} 11]).
