SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Intended use

This lifting device (SH-3500-B) is for lifting and transporting at low heights (<1.8 m) flat, air-impermeable
and non-porous stone slabs of granite, marble, WET CAST and other materials as well as concrete elements,
natural stones, sandstone, stairs, clay pipes, etc., provided a vacuum of –0.6 bar is available, using
appropriate transportation or lifting apparatus (crane, chain hoist, construction vehicle, etc.).
Die Last wird zusätzlich mit der serienmäßigen Lastsicherungskette gesichert.
Various suction plates can be fitted to the device (SH-3500-B) via a quick release locating pin, enabling it
to be used for many different purposes and with many different loads.
The permissible load of the device (SH 2500uni b) of 2500kg must not be exceeded!
folgenderSicherheitseinrichtung
ausgestattet:
WARNING

Safety vacuum storage tank.
Vacuum gauge.
Pressure relieve valve.
Warning device (audible).
Integrated load-securing chain with chain box and
Optional spreader bar TRA (with load-securing chain) for
the multiple attachment of suction plates to the vacuum
lifting device
ATTENTION: The use of this device is only permitted in proximity to the
ground (→ chapter "Safety at work").
Risk of falling objects from using unsuitable suction plates.
The suction plate is not included in delivery. The user must ensure that only suction
plates suitable for the load to be lifted are used.
Maximum carrying capacity/working load limit (WLL) 3,500 kg (see also chapter 3).
The suction plate holder must comply with the requirements outlined in chapter
5.3. Other suction plate holders are not permitted.
The suction surface of the load to be lifted must be airtight – that is, when the
power supply is switched off, the load being gripped must be held for another five
minutes. You may need to verify this by performing tests.
The loads to be lifted must be rigid to ensure they are not destroyed during lifting.
Only suction plates of the manufacturer PROBST shall be used, which shows doubtless a
maximum load capacity at a pressure of - 0.6 bar (- 7.8 psi) at the carrying capacity
sticker. In unclear circumstances the vacuum device and the suction plate may not be
put into operation. The manufacturer must be contacted!
