Troubleshooting
The lifting device may only be installed, maintained and repaired by qualified specialists and mechanics. See
chapter 1.8 Operator duties.
After carrying out any repair and maintenance work, always check the safety
features as described in chapter 9.7.
See also the separate operating and maintenance instructions for the vacuum
pump.
If the load cannot be lifted, work through the following list to identify and rectify the problem.
Problem
Gasoline motor does not start
(see also the operation instructions
for the gasoline motor)
Pump does not run
(See also operating instructions for
the vacuum pump.)
Pump is running, but is not
producing suction
Solenoid valve does not switch

Cause
Discharged battery
Fuse blown
Fuel valve closed
Choke open
Fuel tank empty
Spark plug faulty, air filter clogged,
carburetor malfunction, etc.
Motor faulty
V-belt torn or too loose
Solenoid valve is closed
Vacuum hose fault
Batteries in the radio remote control
are discharged
Solenoid valve faulty
Solution
Recharge battery
Replace fuse; see separate operating
instructions
Open fuel valve
Close choke if motor is cold
Refill fuel tank
See separate operating instructions
Check motor/contact customer
service
Replace/retension the V-belt
Open solenoid valve
Inspect/replace vacuum hose
Replace/recharge batteries
Inspect solenoid valve and replace if
necessary.
