4.2.

Qualifications of operator

To provide safe machine operation each person being the machine operator must meet the
following requirements:
Operator should hold driving license, have ability to drive vehicles safely and know road traffic
rules.
Operator must be in proper physical condition to be able to operate the machine.
Operator must not be under the influence of alcohol, drugs and medicines, which all have
influence on vehicle driving and machine operation.
Operator should be familiarized with this manual and follow its provisions.
Operator should be familiar with working principles of both the tractor and the machine, and be
able to recognize and avoid hazards resulting from operation of the aggregate.
4.3.

Conditions of mounting mower on tractor

Prior to the mounting operation, check whether the tractor's and the mower's hitch categories are
compatible and make sure that tractor's hitch load is adequate for the machine aggregated.
When mounting the machine, examine technical condition of the mower's hitch assembly
and tractor's 3-point linkage.
Use only genuine pins and cotters to mount the mower on a tractor.
4.4.

Transport

Any changes in the position of the mower can only be done after making sure that there are no
people in the vicinity of the mower (be careful of children).
Prior to shifting the mower to transport position make sure, that the tractor PTO is disconnected
and all the rotating parts in complete
During time of transport install on the mower the portable light board and the triangular safety
sign identifying a slow moving vehicle.
When transporting the mower it should always be placed in the transporting
Before the mower which is mounted on the tractor can be placed in the transporting position
please make sure that the power take-off is turned off and all rotating elements have come to
a complete
stop.
Always adjust your driving speed to the current road conditions and according to local traffic
rules.

4.4.1. Putting the mower onto another vehicle for transport

The carrier and the driver are responsible for safety during the transport of a mower. All
equipment and parts must be secured during transport.
The following rules should be observed when placing a mower onto a transport vehicle:
grab the mower by any lifting devices only in places indicated by hook sign (Fig. 9),
equipment having a higher lifting capacity than the weight of the mower, shown on
the identification plate, should be used to hoist the mower. This also concerns lines and chains
used to lift the mower,
transport belts, belt suspensions, ropes cannot be damaged. Whenever damages to these parts
are spotted replace these with new ones,
when mounting slings, chains, handles etc. always pay attention to setting the machine's centre
of gravity properly,
to catch machines, pick ropes of adequate length, so that the angle between them is no greater
than 120°, and the angle between the strand and the vertical is no greater than 60°,
all folding elements should be secured in the transport position
