Tractor's engine must be stopped. Always comply with safety decals describing hazards, and warning signs placed on the machine.

Transport Any modifications in the mower's position are possible only if no unauthorized personnel is around (children in particular). When transported the mower shall have mobile warning light device and warning triangle mounted for slow driving vehicle.

Residual risk Despite the fact, that SaMASZ Białystok company – the manufacturer of the mower takes the responsibility for the mower design and manufacturing, in order to eliminate hazard, certain risk when operating the mower is unavoidable. Residual risk results from incorrect or improper behavior of the mower operator.

Preparing mower for transport on public roads To meet safety precautions concerning transport on the public roads the mower should be equipped with the following devices: Portable warning-light plates, consisting of panel mounted in the upper guard socket (to be ordered optionally).

Preparing mower for operation Follow items 5.1, 5.2, 5.4, upon performing these activities the mower is ready for operation. Then: lower cutterbar freely until cutterbar touches the ground, adjust the cutterbar setting with mower’s upper connector onto desired mowing height.

Each mower should be given tolerance for leaving some slight piece of uncut grass at knives which cut grass forward.

With inclination bigger than 5° minor unevenness in mowed grass is likely. It slightly impairs attractiveness of stubble after mowing however has hardly any impact on mower's operation.
