※The telephone time signal service (TEL 117) is useful to set the time.
④ P ress Button Ⓒ to select the item to be adjusted, and then press Button Ⓔ
or Button Ⓕ to set the value. Each time Button Ⓔ is pressed, the fl ashing

value increases advances one by one, and each time Button Ⓕ is pressed,
the fl ashing value decreases moves back one by one. (This operation does
not work for the second.)
※Press and hold Button Ⓔ or Button Ⓕ to quickly increase or decrease the value.
⑤ W hen the time/calendar setting is completed, press Button Ⓑ to exit the
time/calendar setting mode and return to the time/calendar mode.
※ T he watch is equipped with a fully automatic calendar. The data of years, months, dates
and days of the weeks for the years from 2016 to 2065 has been loaded. During this
period, it is not necessary to correct the date at the end of even months including Febru-
ary of leap years.
※ I f all indicators of the display light in the time/calendar setting mode, it is not a malfunc-
tion. If this happens, press any button to return to the time/calendar mode, and then,
start the procedures from step ① of (2) again to set the time and calendar.

(4) How to set lighting time
You can set the lighting time. The factory setting is 2 seconds.
・Press Button Ⓒ to switch to the time/calendar mode.
① Press and hold Button Ⓑ, 「second」 blinks.
② P ress Button Ⓒ repeatedly to switch to lighting time setting (LIGHT). The cur-
rent lighting time appears at the bottom row.

(3)How to adjust the contrast
The contrast of the display can be adjusted. If all the settings are cleared, the
contrast is reset to its factory setting "0."
・Press Button Ⓒ to switch to the time/calendar mode.
① P ress and hold Button Ⓑ untill 「 second」 blinks, enter the time/calendar set-
ting mode.
② Press Button Ⓒ until the contrast adjustment (CONT) is selected.
③ Press Button Ⓔ or Button Ⓕ to adjust the contrast.

④ W hen the contrast adjustment is fi nished, press Button Ⓑ to return to the
time/calendar mode. Even if Button Ⓑ is not pressed, the display automati-
cally returns to the time/calendar mode within 2 to 3 minutes.
(5)How to set the power save mode
The transition time until the power save mode is activated can be set. The factory set-
ting is 30 minutes.
・Press Button Ⓒ to switch to the time/calendar mode.
① Press and hold Button Ⓑ 「second」 blinks.
② Press Button Ⓒ repeatedly until the power save setting (P-SAVE) is selected.
③ Press Button Ⓔ or Button Ⓕ to select the preferred transition time or OFF.
