At least 2/3 of the useable volume of the water tank is located above the centre line
of the pump.
ƒ
The centre line of the pump must not be located more than 2 m above the lowest
water level in the water tank.
ƒ
Suction line diameter: min. 65 mm.
ƒ
Flow rate in the suction line: max. 1.8 m/s at maximum volume flow.
ƒ
Install a suction strainer in the suction line:
–
Diameter: at least 1.5 times the nominal diameter of the suction line
–
Grain/particle size: max. 5 mm
–
Install a shut-off valve between the filter and the water tank.
