3.1.3.1 Controls and Indicators
The TS05 tape drive has an on/off power switch and five tactile switches,
each with an indicator light. When the drive is powered on, all indicators
light for approximately two seconds.
When all the indicators except the
UNLOAD indicator go out, the tape unit is ready to be loaded. Figure 3-10
shows the controls and indicators used to operate the drive.
Each control has an associated indicator light. Table 3-4 lists the functions
of the controls and indicators.
