You can specify if various tones will be heard that are related to the call's progress. The
tone is 200 ms long. If the Off-Hook Tone is enabled and internal dial tone has been
programmed, the Off-Hook Tone will be 300 ms long, followed by no dial tone. The
tones are controlled as follows:

0 for no tones
1 for Off-hook tone enabled
2 for Cost Centre Code tone enabled
3 for Off-hook and Cost Centre Code tones enabled

4 for Route tone enabled
5 for Off-hook and Route tones enabled
6 for Cost Centre Code and Route tones enabled
7 for Off-hook, Cost Centre Code and Route tones enabled
One tone is supplied after the destination number (to prompt for the Cost Centre Code),
and one tone is supplied after the Cost Centre Code (if Cost Centre Codes are allowed
in the Cost Centre Type Register R54/74).
One tone is supplied after the destination number if Route 0 is used. Two tones are
supplied if any other route is used.

other route is used, and one tone at the end of the Cost Centre Code (if Cost Centre Codes
are allowed in the Cost Centre Code Type Register R54/74).
You can specify the Controller's sensitivity to incoming ringing on a scale of 0 to 9 (where
0 is the most sensitive). If the setting is too sensitive you will receive false incoming calls.
If the setting is not sensitive enough, you may miss incoming calls. It should not be
necessary to change the Default value for normal operation, but you can as follows:
