Safety
Metal in the cooking compartment may
cause sparks in the microwave mode
and combi mode! This could destroy the
microwave and the viewing window!
Do not use metal pots, metal pans,
metal lids or crockery with metal
parts (such as gold edges) under any
circumstances.
Do not use any aluminium foil. It can
also cause sparks when coming into
contact with the cooking compart-
ment walls.
Never operate the microwave with-
out the oven rack or without food!
Special risks in oven mode
CAUTION
Risk of burns!
When in operation, the appliance and
its exposed component parts can be-
come very hot
Never leave the oven unattended
while grilling. Keep children away!
Allow the oven to cool completely be-
fore cleaning.
Never pour water directly into the hot
oven. The steam can cause scalding
and damage the enamel.
Allow hot water from the oven to cool
before pouring it out.
Fire hazard!
Only ever operate the oven with the
oven door closed.
Do not cover cakes or roasts be-
ing cooked in the oven with baking
parchment. Do not allow food, bak-
ing parchment and aluminium foil to
come into contact with the heating
elements.
Under no circumstances must the fan
openings be covered up. This may
cause the appliance to overheat.
Do not place food to be grilled too far
back near the end of the heating ele-
ment. It is particularly hot there. Fat-
ty foods can catch fire.
If the cooling fan is defective, the ap-
pliance can quickly overheat, causing
even more damage to the appliance
and setting fire to any other nearby
flammable objects. In such an event,
immediately switch off the appli-
ance, open the oven door and stop
using the cooker!
Do not store temperature-sensitive,
combustible or flammable objects in
the oven! If the appliance is switched
on unintentionally they may deform
or ignite.
Do not use the oven for storage pur-
poses.
If you are cooking foods in oil, fat or
with alcohol, do not leave the oven
unattended! Food may ignite of its
own accord.
In case of an oven fire:
Keep the oven door closed!
Never extinguish burning oil or fat
with water!
Once the fire has been extinguished,
have the appliance checked by our
service team (see page EN-38).
