A failed PSU should be replaced as quickly as possible to maintain
power system redundancy.
Note: PSUs are hot-swappable.
1 Remove the front bezel. See
2 Turn off the affected PSU.
3 Squeeze the PSU's release latch.
4 Pull the power supply from the RAID appliance. See
Figure 5-4. Removing the PSU
5 Slide the new PSU into the empty bay until it seats completely
and the release latch resets.
6 Turn on the replacement PSU.
7 Replace the front bezel. See
