2 Grasp the screws and pull the cooling fan module from the
RAID appliance. See
Figure 5-3. Removing the Cooling Fan Module
3 Align the replacement cooling fan module with the open bay
and push the module into the RAID appliance until it seats
completely.
4 Tighten the screws on the cooling fan module. Do not
overtighten.
The Fault LED on the front bezel goes out.
Replacing a Power Supply Unit
When a PSU fails
The alarm sounds.
The Fault LED on the front bezel lights up.
The system monitor displays an error event.
A failed PSU should be replaced as quickly as possible to maintain
power system redundancy.
Note: PSUs are hot-swappable.
1 Remove the front bezel. See
2 Turn off the affected PSU.
3 Squeeze the PSU's release latch.
