Disk Drives
The DuraStor 312R storage enclosure uses high-performance,
3.5-inch hot-swappable disk drives. (See
information on DuraStor 312R-compatible disk drives, go to the
Adaptec Web site at www.adaptec.com.

The drive carriers use rails and built-in connectors for easy
installation, and have a built-in locking feature, Drive Status/
Activity LED LitePipes, and tension clips, which maintain a
positive fit. The drive carriers also serve as heat sinks for the
dissipation of disk drive heat.

shows the location of the 12 disk drive slots in the
storage enclosure.
