Section 1: Unpacking and Initial Setup NOTE: Before removing any of the components, ensure that anti-static precautions have been taken. The minimum requirement is an anti-static wrist strap and ground- ing wire. STEP 1. Remove all the components from the packaging and place on an anti-static surface until you are ready to use them.
Section 2: Cabling and Configuration Each of the fourteen disk drive slots of the 2Gb SANbloc Series has a unique iden- tifier assigned to it. This identifier is assigned using a combination of the Slot number and the enclosure ID.

2 Gb SANbloc Series Quad Loop NOTE: Quad loop configuration requires that the enclosure be configured in split loop mode.
