Demo

The Demo button continuously moves plates to the instrument from
the stacker and back, switching the plate source between the input and
output stacks as they fill and empty. Demo mode is primarily used to
demonstrate the plate movement and is generally not used under
normal operation.
To move a specific number of plates to the output stack, type a number
in the Number of Plates field. To move all of the plates, leave the
Number of Plates field blank or type 0 (zero). If you need to interrupt
the movement, press the Emergency Stop button and then, a few
seconds later, press the Reset button.

Scripting

The Scripting button opens the scripting window, which allows you to
create and edit scripts to run the stacker. A script is a series of
commands that control and automate runs. For detailed information
about creating and editing scripts see
Note: Scripting is an optional feature and is not required to perform
tasks, for example, single plate reads or reading stacks of plates with
basic SoftMax Pro Software protocols.
