1.2 System description

Aqualift S is resistant to the usual domestic
acids and alkalis (pH value of 6.5 - 10) as
well as to cold and hot water (up to 95°C).
Condensate from condensing boilers must
be neutralised or sufficiently diluted before
it is discharged into the station. The di-
scharge of sewage or wastewater contai-
ning sewage
as well as combustible or explo-
sive liquids/components is prohibited.
The KESSEL lifting station Aqualift S is ex-
tremely easy to install.
The KESSEL lifting station Aqualift S is avai-
lable in the following versions:
(Order no. 28500 / 28530 / 28550)
- for installation in the ground plate
1. General points
The lifting station comprises a pump tank
with integrated compression seal flange, a
telescopic upper cover section and a cover
plate with slotted cover (Class A), optional-
ly with a cover plate resistant to surface
water Class A.
Maximum groundwater resistance is 2 m.
he following versions are available with:
1 Pump with floating switch
1 Pump with submersible pipe and
pressure sensor in the control unit
2 pumps with submersible pipe and
pressure sensor in the control unit
- as twin lifting station
(Order no. 28541)
for above-ground installation
The KESSEL lifting station Aqualift S com-
prises a pump tank and an odour-tight
cover. The two pumps are controlled via the
submersible pipe and pressure sensor in
the control unit.
1.3 Duty – Stand by operation of twin
The pumps operate alternately, in the event
pump systems
of increased soiled water occurrence or if
one of the pumps fails, the second pump
switches on automatically.
Pressure connection: R 1

1.4 Connections

pressure pipe D = 40 mm for PVC adhesive
connection. Pressureless pipe connections
(e.g. HT pipe) are not permitted for pressu-
re pipes.
1.5 Connection of air pressure tube to
For systems equipped with the pressure
control unit
sensor, the air pressure tube running from
the pressure sensor to the control unit must
be laid with a constant positive slope (up-
wards) from the pump back to the control
unit. The tube should not be coiled or con-
tain any loops or dips.
As an option, a small air compressor (Article
Number 28048) can be connected to the
