DECLARING TRUNKS

Analogue or digital trunks connected to an EX are seen as SIP trunks on MiV5000.
To configure the paths/routes associated with these trunks, refer to Operating manual
AMT/PTD/PBX/0080.
In a Cluster Server configuration, SIP clusters must be declared at the EX Controller node.

SIP DIGITAL TRUNKS

These trunks must be connected to the PRI cards of EX Controller.
To configure a digital trunk, a SIP trunk must be created via WebAdmin.
The port of this type of network line must be different from that of 5060 to avoid any clash with the port
of analogue phones, and the value must be unique for an EX / GX.
If several trunks are defined for an EX / GX, the ports must be different, with the values 5062, 5064,...
for example.
If port 5060 or 5061 is defined in the line group configuration, the line group will not be proposed for PRI
configuration.
To facilitate data entry, only eligible SIP trunks, that is those declared with the IP address (or FQDN) of
EX Controller are proposed (the IP address indicated at the top of the screen):
The Trunk drop-down list contains all the SIP trunks declared with the EX/GX IP address or the
FQDN.
If EX is declared with its FQDN, the corresponding SIP trunks must be declared with the same FQDN
as Proxy 1. Same for the IP address.
