Equipment Requirements
•
The UUT Active Head, connected to a verified Model 9500B Mainframe.
•
Two Calibrated Capacitance Units (BNC-terminated):
o Calibrated value between 15 pF and 25 pF
o Calibrated value between 85 pF and 95 pF
Suitable capacitance values can be constructed from a length of coaxial cable fitted
with a BNC connector at one end and open circuit at the other. Measure the
capacitance value with a capacitance bridge. If the cable is fitted with a female
connector, a BNC male/male adapter is required to interface with the Active Head
and must be included in the capacitance value.
