contour of the sail to the sail fabric. Make an addi-
tion of 5 mm at the outer edges for the outer
seams. Sew around the edges. At the corners,
reinforcement triangles can be sewn on from scrap
fabric.
Drill a 1mm hole in the main mast according to the
side view drawing S. Hook the block 7.36 into the
split pin 7.35 and fix the split pin with superglue in
the mast.
Pierce the marked holes in the sail 7.22 in the cor-
ners with a thicker sewing needle.
Tie a roller block to the upper eye of the sail 7.22.
Tie the sail halyard 7.37 to the split pin.
Guide the halyard 7.37 first through the block at
the sail 7.36, then through the block at the mast
7.36 and tie it down to a cleat at the mast.
Fasten the sail at the bottom, each corner with a
ribbon 7.38 and 7.39, whereby the rigging yarn is
led alternately through the eyelet 6.7 and around
the main boom.
Tie the row line 7.40 to the upper sail eye. Start the
line at the top and guide it around the main mast,
pulling it through the pierced holes in the sail.
Make sure that the line is not too tight and that
the halyard is not looped into the sail.

The net fabric can be dyed in a light brown shade
with hot black tea. Wrap the net fabric into a roll
and tie it together with yarn.

Stickers and Letters
The letters are cut from weatherproof adhesive
foil. First cut out the respective word and carefully
remove the sticker residues around the letters
from the carrier material. To keep the letters at the
same distance when you peel off the backing ma-
terial, first glue a strip of painter's masking tape
over the letters from above. The letters do not
have to be completely covered. It makes sense to
leave the upper or lower edge free for exact posi-
tioning of the letters. Then carefully peel off the
backing material from below. Now you can attach
the lettering to the intended position on the
model. Finally, carefully pull off the crepe tape.
Remote Control
A two-channel radio remote control with a control
servo is required to operate the model.
When checking the function, make sure that the
rudder actually deflects to the left when the con-
trol command "Left" is given. If this is not the case,
the control travel (servo reverse) on the transmit-
ter must be reversed (manual).
The receiver can be attached with double-sided
adhesive tape.
The speed controller for motor control can also be
attached to the servo board with double-sided
adhesive tape.
The motor connection cables of the controller are
connected and soldered to the connection cables
of the motor in the shortest way.
To adjust the speed controller, follow the respec-
tive operating instructions. If the speed controller
is equipped with a receiver power supply (BEC), a
receiver battery is no longer required. In this case,
the receiver is supplied from the drive battery.
Final Works
Once all installations have been completed, the
model must be finally checked. All glued joints,
connections and fixtures should be checked for
correct and stable fit and corrected if necessary.
The function check of the radio control must also
be completed successfully. When all fittings are
fixed and the remote control is installed, weigh out
the model in the bathtub. To do this, place it in the
water complete with battery and check if the wa-
terline matches. Now you can balance with small
bags of ballast at the front or back. The ballast
must of course be placed as low as possible on the
bottom of the hull to keep the model as steady as
