Glue the plywood deck to the ABS deck. To do this,
roughen the ABS deck very well with coarse sand-
paper and then glue it with epoxy glue. As this is a
very large area, a glue with a long open time
should be used (e.g. UHU Plus endfest).
Now drill the two holes for the masts with a diame-
ter of 9 mm. It is recommended to pre-drill with a
small drill bit and then to increase the size in steps.
If available, a scaling drill can also be used.
Now adjust the mast base pos. 2.3. The masts are
slightly inclined backwards. This inclination is de-
termined by the supports pos. 2.4 and 2.5.

Now glue in the supports pos. 2.4 and 2.5 and fix
the direction for the masts.
In the next step, glue the side supports for the
main mast in place. In the first step fix the supports
with super glue and then in the second step glue
them with Stabilit Express.

Now the deck can be placed in the hull.
Attention: do not glue it yet.
First cut out the scuppers in the side of the hull.
A scupper is an unclosed or non-return flap secured
drain opening in the bulwark of a ship through
which rainwater or overspray is drained back into
the water. The bulwark protects ship and crew
from overflowing water.
To do this, mark the thickness of the deck on the
ship's side. Mark the scuppers. Drill small holes in
the corners and then cut out roughly. Do not cut to
size, but slightly smaller and then file out exactly.
For filing take the deck out of the hull.

A saw blade (order no. 420015) is particularly suit-
able for cutting.

Now the deck can be glued into the hull on the
support strips.
At the stern install the coaming around the open-
ing for the rudder linkage. Make the frame from
parts 2.15 and 2.16.
