To attach the pen tray
You attach the pen tray to threaded posts on the overlay. You then attach the MOD8 cable
that you have already attached to the overlay and attach either a SMART USB adapter cable,
a DB9-to-DB9 serial cable, or a WC2 Wireless Serial Adapter, depending upon what you
ordered.

NOTE: Depending upon where and how the interactive whiteboard is mounted, you may need
to perform some of the following steps by touch due to reduced visibility.
CAUTION
Do not connect the interactive whiteboard to the computer until after you've
installed SMART Board software. For more information, see page 6.
1. Remove the thumbscrews from the pen tray bracket. You will need these
thumbscrews for the next step.
2. Attach the pen tray by aligning the holes on the pen tray with the threaded posts on
the pen tray bracket.

CAUTION
When you attach the pen tray, be careful not to trap the cables
between the pen tray and the overlay.
