The capture board includes instructions for installation on metal and wood stud walls and certain masonry wall types only. A SMART hardware kit is available for these types of installation. Installing the app and starting it for the first time ™ You can download and install the SMART kapp app by visiting the Apple App Store or Google Play , or you can install the app on your mobile device by scanning your board’s QR code or by tapping its NFC tag.

Writing, erasing and viewing notes You can write and erase notes on the SMART kapp board just like you do on a traditional dry erase board. You can view your notes on the board or in the app.

As you zoom in or out, grid lines appear on the writing surface to indicate the level of magnification. Saving and working with snapshots As you write notes on a SMART kapp board, you might want to save snapshots of your notes from time to time during the session.

Securing shared sessions In the SMART kapp app, you can add password security to protect your sessions before you send out a link sharing them. This means that others will have to use the password you set to join your shared session.
