Changing menu settings
This section describes how to change the factory-set values for each menu
setting.
The [C] mark appears in the monitor display when you change a factory
setting in a customized menu.

Note
The [C] mark indicates that only a part of the full menu is being shown
through the unit's customize function.
When the CHARACTER switch on the system set-up panel is set to ON,
the set-up menu contents appear on the time counter on the control panel
and on the video monitor connected to the COMPOSITE VIDEO
OUTPUT 2 (SUPER) connector. The menu contents consist of item
number, sub-item number, and data number.
To change the factory-set values of the menu items, follow the procedure
on next page.
Note
Before starting this procedure, No.1 on DIP switch S100 on the SS-52
board needs to be set to ON.
Consult the qualified service personnel for DIP switch settings.
