Reading hours meter information
About the digital hours meter (continued)
Displays the total number of hours in ten-hour units that the VTR has been in playback
and search modes. (Does not include stop and still modes.)
Note
The accumulated tape running hours are displayed in one-hour units on the timer
counter display while the JOG or SHUTTLE button on the lower control panel is
pressed. On the monitor screen, however, it is displayed in one-hour units without
pressing the JOG or SHUTTLE button.
Displays the total threadings and unthreadings in ten-cycle units.
Note
The accumulated number of the threading and unthreading cycles are displayed in the
actual number of cycles on the timer counter display while the JOG or SHUTTLE
button on the lower control panel is pressed. On the monitor screen, however, it is
displayed in the actual number of cycles without pressing the JOG or SHUTTLE button.
Displays the total number of hours in ten-hour units that the drum has run with tape
threaded since last reset. Use this information as a guide for head-drum replacements.

Displays the total number of hours in ten-hour units that the VTR has been in playback

Follow the procedure below to read hours meter information.

Press the MENU button to display the hours meter (H01) in the time
counter display.
If another previously selected menu item appears, press the TC button
in the time counter display section to display H01.
