To adjust the playback speed, rotate the search dial while holding
down the PLAY button.
The speed adjustment range is ±15% (in steps of 1%).

Release the PLAY button after completing the adjustment of the
playback phase.
The VTR returns to normal-speed playback and the SERVO indicator
lights.
