14.2 CIM 260

You can detect faults in CIM 260 by observing the status of the
two communication LEDs. See the table below and section
3.3 CIM 260 3G/4G cellular.
14.2.1 LED status
Fault (LED status)
1. Both LED1 and LED2 remain off when
the power supply is connected.
2. LED2 for internal communication is
flashing red.
3. LED2 for internal communication is
permanently red.
4. LED1 for cellular communication keeps
flashing yellow. See signal 1 in fig.
page 13.
5. The LED1 for cellular communication is
pulsating yellow with single pulse, but
CIM 260 cannot send or receive SMS
messages.
Possible cause
a) CIM 260 is fitted incorrectly in LC 2X1/
LC 2X2.
b) CIM 260 is defective.
a) No internal communication between
CIM 260 and LC 2X1/LC 2X2.
a) CIM 260 does not support the
connected LC 2X1/LC 2X2.
a) The SIM card has not been inserted in
16 on CIM 260.
b) The SIM card has not been inserted
correctly in CIM 260.
c) The SIM card PIN code is not correct.
d) No connection to the cellular network.
a) CIM 260 has not been initialised.
Remedy
Ensure that CIM 260 is fitted and connected
correctly.
Replace CIM 260.
Ensure that CIM 260 is fitted correctly in LC
2X1/LC 2X2.
Contact the nearest Grundfos company.
Insert the SIM card.

• Check the cellular coverage of the area
using for example a mobile phone.
• Use an external antenna and experiment
with the position.
