4 Preparation for Use

4.1 Unpacking

• see fig. 4 (see page 2)
1) Open the case.
2) Remove the upper part of the case
3) Remove the instructions for use .
4) Remove the force sensing platforms .
5) Remove the camera stands + .
6) Remove the tablet .

4.2 Folding out the force sensing platforms

• see fig. 5 (see page 3)
1) Place the force sensing platforms on an even surface.
2) Fold out the upper force sensing platform.

4.3 Folding out the camera stands

• see fig. 6 (see page 3)
1) NOTICE! Do not damage the cables and cameras when folding out the stands.
2) Fold out the camera stands in the order shown.

4.4 Positioning

• see fig. 7 (see page 3)
1) Insert the base plates of the stands in the appropriate fixtures of the upper part of the case and lower part of
the case.
2) Position the upper part of the case, the lower part of the case and the force sensing platforms as shown ( –
upper case positioning for measuring the right side of the patient,
the left side of the patient).

4.5 Establishing the electrical connections

• see fig. 8 (see page 3)
► Establish the electrical connections as shown.
– USB connecting cable between the lower and upper parts of the case.

→ – USB connecting cable between the lower part of the case and the force sensing platforms.

4.6 Optional: Use of cable protectors

• see fig. 9 (see page 4)
INFORMATION
The use of cable protectors can reduce the danger of tripping and risk of damaging the cables. The cable protect­
ors are not included in the scope of delivery.
► Position the cable protectors over the cables as shown.

4.7 Charging the tablet

• see fig. 10 (see page 4)
1) Plug the USB cable into the battery charger/power supply of the tablet.
2) Plug the USB cable into the tablet.
3) Plug the battery charger/power supply plug into the outlet.
