Proper use
see fig. 2 (see page 2)
The 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture is a measuring device intended for use in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics.
The bench alignment of the prosthesis or orthosis is carried out in the workshop. The prosthesis or orthosis is
placed on the patient in the fitting room. The patient stands on the force sensing platforms for measuring. The
measured values are evaluated by a mini-computer in the lower part of the case and their shape superimposed on
the images from the cameras in the stands in the form of load lines. Depending on the settings, the load lines are
based on either vertical ground reaction forces alone, or on a combination of vertical and horizontal ground reac
tion forces.
The images with the load lines are displayed in the app in the tablet. Measurement lines can also be determined
parallel to the load lines in order to test the alignment recommendation values and, if necessary, to implement and
check the changes necessary to optimise the static alignment of the prosthesis or orthosis.
Images can be saved from the monitor view and assigned to a patient in the app's patient database.
